This is (mainly) an invite to do Imlay with us (, but no only…Heaps, Headless Hen (HH) invitation as well) – if not interested…can skip this thread

4 of us are planning on doing Imlay (sneak route) on 5/29 (Memorial day weekend; maybe on 5/28).
This would be our 1st time through it, so would love to have someone who has done it before.
Originally we were 5-6, but 2 guys bailed out. I have a permit for 6, and was wondering if anyone is interested in joining us.
BTW…request is extended beyond Imlay (e.g. Heaps) – see info below

Some more details:

What we’re looking for:

Experienced canyoneer
Someone who can help with carrying the gear (I have vested interest here, as I’m the main mule in this trip J)
Someone who have done Imlay or Heaps is a HUGE bonus
Flexible with the date (i.e. if weather doesn’t allow us to do it on those days, can push out by 1-2 days)
Easy going / Fun to be around (we’ll take your word for it, and not ask for resume recommendations J)

Our Experience (taken from a previous Bogley post for those of you with good memory :) ): 3 out of the 4 have the experience below. The 4th one has less canyoneering experience, but in good shape.

The guys already did some of the following canyons in the US (more overseas):

Zion: Echo, Spry, Pine, Mystery, Keyhole, Yankee, Birch
SRS/NW: Cable, Quandary, Zero Gravity, Morocco, Hogwarts
Moab: Granary, Rock of ages, Entrajo
Escalante: Neon, Spencer

Team has experience with natural anchors and pothole escapes

The trip is actually longer (until ~6/4);

We’d love to have someone join us for the entire trip / portion of it
Heaps-Overnight and Headless Hen (Escalante) are a couple other canyons we’re considering, but plan is flexible with some backup options
Logistics are on us – can share details offline

Please send me private message if interested

I would be interested, but last time I did Imlay was 26 years ago, if that counts. If I did go, I'd bring my son though. He's really handy for pothole escapes.
