Last time I talked to her was about a year before she got married. I said "Wow, you've been with Don a long time"...I was surprised by that because he's not very athletic. He'll hike and bike with her, but she can leave him in the dust. She would churn through boyfriends and always went for the alpha male type.

She said, "Y'know Byron, I always thought the guy for me would be someone I'd play with...that he'd have to be a very outdoorsy, athletic guy...but it turns out that wasn't so important after all".

Funny how the ingredients that we think are necessary (like sex and intimacy, for example) may not be necessary at all. You never can tell who you'll love and who you won't.

Personally, I can't do without genuine intimacy...it's critical. It strengthens the bond. Until, of course...some rather insignificant dealbreaker comes along and then all that gooey love snuggle yum yum stuff goes right out the window.

Climb-Utah.comTobacco is nasty...It doesn't bother me that they've raise the age to purchase. Did you know that tobacco was unknown to Europe before Christopher Columbus? He brought it back with him and people got addicted real quick...the Church tried to outlaw it because they saw the smoke from the "cigars" people were smoking as evil. The origins of tobacco...I never knew that until recently.

In regards to the girl...funny how if it's "filmed" it's legal even though she's being paid...yet prostitution is against the law. There's an oxymoron if there ever was one.

^^ Ha. If this doesn't exemplify the change in culture. In my childhood home, we had railroad ties for driveway material. Quite the unique setup. That wood back in the day was heavily soaked in creosote (or some nasty preservative). So we did pour our used oil into the ties and soil to help. It is regarded as the most dangerous motorsport event in the world. In 2016, 5 riders died on the race course. There were six fatalities among competitors in the 1970 Isle of Man TT, making it the deadliest year in the history of the event. 260 racers have been killed racing this event since it's inception in 1907. That's 2.3 death's a year.... In other words this is no race for pussies or snowflakes.
It also makes for some of the most exciting racing to watch on youtube. It's a serious spectacle. I love it, but it's kinda terrifying.

Cory Booker Moved To Tears During Participation Trophy Acceptance Speech

NEWARK, NJ—After accepting his resignation from the 2020 presidential race, the Democratic National Committee awarded its coveted Participation Trophy to Senator Cory Booker for all of his fine work on his brief campaign.

"This is a big deal," said DNC chairperson Tom Perez. "Not every candidate gets one of these. Well, actually they do, but not all at the same time, so that makes it special."

At the award ceremony, Booker made no effort to hide his emotions during his two-hour acceptance speech. "I just wish there was some way to share this with all of you who took your hard-earned money and backed a candidate with no real chance of getting the nomination," said a tearful Booker. "But, alas, there isn't. So if any of you want to stop by my office and look at it, you're certainly welcome."

Booker's speech reiterated a number of his campaign platform issues, and he reminded voters that they are more than welcome to donate to his 2024 presidential bid. "Cash gifts with no receipt is our preferred method," he explained.

The DNC is anticipating many more such ceremonies, and the company that makes the trophies is asking its employees to be ready to work overtime.
