XC Skiing @ North Fork Park, Winter Trails Day

My family and I had a really fun time Cross Country Skiing at the Winter Trails Day in North Fork Park. They had a great event with plenty of sponsors to keep all of the demo rentals free. Although there were fat bikes and snowshoes, we really wanted to head out on the XC skis as my kids have never been. They did really well for their first time.

They have this event every year and I'm looking forward to the next one.

Yeah I was overdressed for sure. I shouldn't have worn the snow pants on top of my denim jeans, but I didn't know what the trail was going to be like.

If I wasn't with the kids and was going faster, I would have been really burning up.
