I have some new to Zion friends coming out with me over Thanksgiving and I'm trying to talk them into doing the bottom up hike in the Subway. Two of them are afraid of getting wet and cold during that hike and I've only done the top down in the summer when getting wet was welcome.
Is it possible to hike bottom up and stay dry or can we minimize the exposure?
How would the hiking be this time of year? First time for me out to Zion this time of year so not sure what to expect.
We hoping to watch the weather and try and get a walk in permit but if I can ensure that it's a doable hike for them we may reserve ahead of time since there are plenty of permits still available.
Thanks
