From the top of the monolith cliffs in the Park Avenue area of Arches National Park the views are stunning. I almost didn't want to come down.
It was a perfect day to be up there too with temperatures in the high 60's. Partly cloudy skies make for such better photos I think.

This was our first experience using the new Arches NP permitting system and it took just a few minutes to stop at the visitor center's
outdoor kiosk and fill out the permit tag. I could've easly done this on-line but I wanted to experience the kiosk first hand and I needed
a hard copy for my scrapbook.

The top two rappels are a hoot. I really like the first one as it drops you into a very large entrada sandstone cirque like bowl.
We used a "Smooth Operator" to ghost the top two rappels.

Oh! and that ledge exit LDC after the downclimb below the second rappel has some exposure to it just before rounding the bend.

My canyoneering partners for this route included Brinda, Jessica, Alijeh, Justin, Jeremy and Koda.
