I was on my way back to Tucson from Boulder, Colorado via Moab. As I was approaching the town of Mexican Hat, Utah I thought ‘Wouldn’t it be cool to see climbers on Mexican Hat Rock?” I drive by the formation several times a year on the way to or from Colorado and had not yet seen climbers on the unique rock formation. This time, when I parked near the formation, I saw climbers on the summit that were getting ready to rappel off the top. Sadly, I missed capturing video of any of them on the summit, but at least you can see them pulling the rope from the rappel anchors and preparing for the hike down:
