Eagle Mountain

I visited Eagle Mountain yesterday with the high school MTB team to preride next weekends race course. I was surprised at the great mountain bike trail system they are building out there and it was a lot of fun. I know most if not all the trails are new this year. Anyhoo.... just a heads up on a new trail system you should add to your ride list. I took a couple pictures but not many as I was coaching the kids.

I took my son out to preride as well. It was a fun trail, though it needs to be ridden a lot more! It needs several good wet\dry cycles...

The new trsils should be great by spring, but they also need more of them.

What school does your son race for? And what class?

I'm a coach (ride leader) for Corner Canyon. My daughter races JV Girls D1A.

I agree, they will be awesome by spring! I have two boys who race, one in the Jr Devo league, for Farmington Jr and the other is a freshman with Viewmont, D1B. I have been the head coach for the Farmington Jr High team for the last two seasons.

Your pits are a little smaller than ours.... LOL.... we have 150-something kids on the team.

The trails at Eagle Mountain are in much better condition than they were for the Devo race earlier in the year. Last month's rain storms really helped them out a lot.

You are right, I meant D2B. We are part of the South Davis Composite. It was definitely a great race day!
