Koosharem Area Beta!

Over Labor Day weekend, I'm heading to Koosharem. I intend to fish Koosharem Reservoir, Otter Creek and Upper Box Creek. So far, online reports are looking favorable for decent trout. I am going to use lures and power bait. Any beta beyond that is greatly appreciated.

Never caught a thing out of Koosharem, personally. I've tried a few times and once was a dedicated trip with a tube. Ended up at Fish Lake to salvage the day. There are some pigs in it though. Maybe the putty is what they want.

Otter Creek has big rainbows. PB and lures should treat you right. A rainbow Kastmaster is good there. Also gulp leeches and smelt minnows in 3" on a 1/16oz jig head. Awesome stuff.

Black marabou jigs 1/16oz with light line is deadly. Everywhere (but Koosharem LOL).

Never fished on Monroe though. Standard gear should work for Box Creek or Upper. Brookies will hammer marabou jigs before lures. Might help to weed through the rainbows.
