It is nice to have a canyon to fall back to when the Zion permit system isn't shining favorably in your direction.
Red Hollow has 4 different entry points depending on the skill level of the group with the 300 foot mostly free hang rappel being one of those.
We chose the easier 110 foot rappel given the expertise of our group. That one also has it's challenges with the loose rocky stuff scattered about.
The canyon also has some irritating grafitti scratched in some walls here and there. The canyon is pretty cool and scenic none the less.
All of the anchors were recently placed and in great shape.
Our group included Jessica, Justin, Lorin, Jeremy, Dejah, Alijeh, Koda, Doug and Elijah
