104F coming home from work. My brand new at home HVAC struggling to maintain 78F on the upper floors!

The office AC struggling. Conference room had to be in the 80's.

Truck w/AC running is doing okay, but transmission temps (even with AUX cooler) still hit 207F by the time I got home around 6:15pm today. (anything below 220F is still safe, but getting above 200F is rare).

It finally cooled down here yesterday! It was only 78 in the store, and only 111 outside yesterday. Whew.....gotta love those temporary cooldowns!

So sick of 103-105F while driving home. Brand new HVAC (and I super sized it) has a tough time keeping the upper level of the home below 76F. I suppose it doesn't help that both my boys are up there each with like 5x computers and Alienware towers pushing out mega heat!

Oversizing the AC unit is a mistake. you don't want to do that.

Is your home AZ zoned? There's some nifty vent covers on the market now that let you create some faux zoning in homes with a whole house system. You don't want to block too much flow as the back pressure is hard on the heating cooling system. Here's one such unit discussed. There are others.
