then there is my favorite New Mexico canyon- South Casa Canyon in the Pecos Wilderness...!!! it is not techical but involves scrambling and extreme bush whacking...!!! -has huge Rio Grande Cutthroat Trout swimming in way deep and huge pools under countless waterfalls. the high falls are 40' - 60' and 95' high...... there has never been a trail thru this canyon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6z16K00duGc
