we had a great time doing imlay this weekend. the canyon was filled up with water and lost 2 ropes and a jacket in the canyon. the ropes are a nice 100' bluewater canyon extreme 8mm and a 8.3 fire rope in the bottom of the canyon out if the packs. by the time someone finds them they will most like be destroyed but will like them out of the the canyon. :angryfire: the jacket is on top of one of the saddles. its a good thing we had lot of rope to do the canyon with and had no problems

I need to go back.
Just found another lost rope in Imlay a couple of weeks ago.

When I went, the group I went with lost a rope and a rope bag, and 3 or 4 carabiners. I was quite surprised. It might have to do with how people are trained in canyoneering.

Did you get your stuff back? We're going through on Friday.

Is there a part of their training or style which you think contributed to them losing stuff?
I assume the stuff was just overlooked and left behind... or was it something else?
