Been wandering the canyon heads that lie off the Smoky Mountain & Croton Roads, tributaries of Warm Creek and Gunsight Canyon, in Glen Canyon NRA the past month. lots of scenic stuff to spend a day enjoying, & Sile Brink Hollow east in particular intrigued me because the bottom falls out dramatically. So I went back to descend to see what was down there. VERY scenic, but over too quickly. So hang out and enjoy it a bit while you're there. After the slot (about 300 meters total ?) it opens up and is a typical deep n' wide canyon down to Warm Creek. But loop back up Pasture Point Canyon and it again becomes very scenic, and makes for a full day out. Always my goal, a full day out. Pasture Point Canyon will terminate in a pour over in about 2 miles of walking up from Warm Creek, but at its mouth are many places to exit to the east via rolling benches.

3B III, 2 dc's, 2 raps to 25M max. And some crotch deep quickmud at the end. That was fun to try to swim thru.
and nice game panels above the slot
