I am sure many have been here before, but just thought I would share. 16 Room Ruin used to be accessible by a footbridge from Bluff, but the bridge was washed out 8 years ago. We visited here recently while spending a few days exploring around Bluff as it is easily accessible by taking a few dirt and gravel road.

We passed by a few locals working in their fields.

It is technically classified as a Pueblo III ruin, thus thought to be constructed sometime between AD 1150 and 1350. Don’t know if we could actually count a full 16 rooms. Even though it is covered in the alcove, I believe it is being visited to death.
Obviously we were not the first to visit.

We also saw some interesting pictographs. There were many others but they were very faint.
