The Coalition of American Canyoneers board of directors is donating $600 to aid our friend Rajendra Lama in providing medical assistance, shelter & rebuilding in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Rajendra attended the Zion Canyon Rendezvous around 2007. His very first rappel was Employee Canyon – all smiles. His brother and cousin came over the next year. The family owns an adventure guide service in Nepal, with a focus on canyoneering. As part of an effort to develop canyoneering in Nepal, they have sponsored the French and Rich Carlson to put on trainings and the international rendezvous. He goes out of his way to help others. If possible given the current situation, he and his brother will be in Ouray, CO for the international rendezvous this August.
Your donation will be used for medical supplies, to provide shelter, and to assist in rebuilding.
