We completed Heaps canyon on 3/28/2015. The approach and whole canyon were snow free. The water was high enough to cover all of the pot holes. The water was cold, we both wore 7/8 mm semi dry suits and stayed comfortable throughout the canyon. The sand acted like quicksand in the canyon, you would sink down up to your ankles and would take effort to over and over again pull your feet out. We had no issue with any anchors and all seemed in good condition.
