Newbie beginner hiking/canyoneering threads?

Hey so I just launched Wanderookie - a utah hikes and outdoor recreation blog for families and rookie adventurers! I am wondering if there are any beginner hiking/canyoneering threads on Bogley I can join? If anyone knows on Facebook groups or Googplus groups for Utah outdoor bloggers that would also be helpful!
