I was wondering what folks are often use for pull cord? I read somewhere (smooth operator (version of the Fiddle Stick) instructions) that 1/8" Dyneema cord can be used, but seems awfully thin (mental block? :crazycobasa:? abrasion resistant?) to use. I'm using 6-7mm accessory cord.

I use Imlay 6MM, works fine for me.. others use Dyneema and love it

FWIW- The requirements for a fiddle stick pull chord are different from a standard pull chord.
Personally I carry a pull chord that I can rappel on in a emergency.
I use a static 6mm Imlay rope, personally.
Like Shane said, as an emergency or anything else that comes up - I have another rope to rappel on. 6mm is probably the thinnest I would ever go on personally and would probably be lowered vs. rappel on it but I would if needs be.
Others will bring in a 2nd or 3rd 8mm or 9mm and use that as their pull-cord, secondary rope, and emergency rope.
It all depends on the canyon, and everyone's skill level.
