5 May 2012, our group of 6 made our way through Behunin canyon, Zion National Park. We brought plenty of rope and lots of extra hardware for this all day adventure. Total time shuttle to shuttle was about 11hrs. We kept a steady pace but the rappels are long and a few of the group members were inexperienced so we didn't rush things. Behunin was very beautiful with its foliage, sandy washes, and towering sandstone cliffs that seemed to disappear into the sky. I will definitely do this canyon again someday, but with so many other great choices in Zion it may take many years before I go back.
