Cops are such assholes. They'll go back and claim this old fart was a threat to public safety, or even worse a threat to them. There will be an investigation, they'll be put on paid leave. And in the end nothing will come of it and the cops will walk away from this scott free.

Meanwhile, this poor old guy probably has a broken hip and 6 busted ribs now and is laying in a hospital bed somewhere, praying for death.
