This might have been a year or two ago

Allsop Lake, up the East Fork of the Bear River in the Uintas was a favorite camping destination as a child. We would ride in to our same camp spot every year, sometime in August. Fish like crazy and drink right out of the river.

I have some great memories of horse/camping trips with my daughters. I bounce around the state trying to see new trails. So I don't often return to the same trail every year. But I do have some favorites. We have made many a trip up the East Fork of the Bear. Both to the Alsop lake area and to Norice Lake. But we've also gone into Kidney Lake, The Timothy's, Red Castle, Henry's Fork and Four Lakes Basin. Great fun with the kids and close to home
