How do you pronounce "Spokane"? I use "Spoke-En" rather than "Spoke-Ain" or "Spoke-Ann"

Incidentally, the quiz put me in NYC, Yonkers or Jersey City, which is pretty much as close to my real home as the quiz allows!

Wichita, Santa Rosa, Stockton. Hmmm. Not even close. Maybe I'm too educated or not educated enough?

Gee....surprise, surprise, surprise.......New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Jackson MS :haha:

Had to be the question about "what do you call the middle grassy area between two streets" and down here it's called the neutral ground. Dates back to the 18th and 19th centuries when Americans were the foreigners and the French and Spanish were the area founders. They could only do their "trading of goods" in areas not located in specific neighborhoods or streets - hence "neutral ground". The street signs to this day will read "No Parking on Neutral Grounds" during Mardi Gras. Ok - your trivia for the day. :2thumbs:
