I've got a feeling that Ole Miss is not only going to lose, but feel the wrath of TCU not getting into the playoff. TCU will put up 50.

They might have the defensive advantage, which may be where this game is won and lost.

I don't see how anyone can pick against Boise in a big bowl game and I did. Lol

Oregon = CHOKE!!!
The opposing team has 4 turnovers and they still blow you out by 22 points!

Buckeyes make Duck Soup. Dominating Wisconsin (13), Alabama (1) and Oregon (2) = True Champion

TCU and Baylor will both disagree. In my humble opinion the only way to have a true championship is if every team has a way to play themselves into the playoffs with "judges".
But with that said Ohio State did look really good in the swimsuit portion of the beauty pageant.

I think Meyer would have a plan for TCU or Baylor and Ohio State still wins it all.

And just for fun... In the AP final poll TCU is #3, Utah #21.

I thought Oregon would throttle Ohio State, but the play calling for the Buckeyes was sharp. There were numerous times Oregon's defense was stymied. And the fact that Mariotta walked off the field in tears at the end of the game says something. I've never seen him that rattled.

Ohio States O-line dominated that game. Their blocking schemes were very sound and executed to perfection. They we always getting linemen to the second level.
And Oregon never adjusted to how they were being blocked. They needed to use four down linemen to eat up blocks so their LB's could scrap and make plays.
As Oregon discovered... If you can't stop the run it's going to be a long day.

Oregon never made adjustments. They still tried the same hurry up, throw it to the outside and rely on speed. I don't know how many times they threw it outside and got tackled near the line of scrimmage.
OSU racked up 296 yards and 5 TD's on the ground. 246 and 4 TD's were from one guy, who was averaging nearly 7 yards a carry!

In the Oregon offense that short outside pass is the third option, when that doesn't work there is no where left to go.
What Oregon does is really similar to the old Air Force triple option attack we all knew and hated. In the Oregon version the outside receiver is the pitch man. Ohio played excellent fundamentel football and stay with their assignments. The D-line took away the dive (halfback read) by staying in their gaps. LB's scrapped down the line forcing the pitch (pass). The the corners stayed with their assignment and didn't suck in trying to stop Marriotta. Typical assignment sound football from an Urban Meyer coached team.
