My wife got gas at Costco for $2.26! Unbelievable prices and no sign of them going up.

To be fair, when inflation is taken in account, airline ticket price really haven't risen in decades. In fact they have been overall in decline for many decades.

I don't think jet planes run on 85 octane unleaded.

While regular fuel prices have plummeted, other petroleum derivatives haven't really gone down very much....take diesel for example.
