something useful for drones ?

lets say you want to go for a spring hike in a remote area because you can melt snow to get water (no good water in summer)

howzabout using drones to drop your fuel cartridges at predetermined GPS locations? (put pink ribbon on the cartridges)

I'm too old to carry all my gear (and I have a pinched nerve exiting my spine)
