Did Kolob with a group of 4 on Friday 9/14/12. We left a bagged 120' canyon fire rope at the top of the first big rap floating in the pool. Our last guy down didn't notice it floated around the corner.

Kolob was was flowing from the top at about 0.5 CFS all the way through the technical section and then intermittently down to Oak Creek. Flowing from Oak Creek to MIA. MIA is well marked and has a much better defined and easier route than in years past. All raps had good anchors and webbing even after the flooding from last week. Our time car to car was 12 hours.

please message me if you find my rope - newel.white@gmail.com

also when we crossed upper Boundary there was flow - maybe 0.5 CFS but now flow at the confluence with Kolob

You guys just might be the first people do to Kolob with waterflow all year, lucky...

When we went at the first rap the last guy put on his wetsuit and left his shorts, iphone, and my guidebook up top and had to go back the next morning to go grab them. He got pretty beat up from it, a pretty deep leg gouge that got infected on the first hike in, and almost needed stitches from some pretty deep scratches on his forehead hiking back in the next morning.
