We got a late start and started hiking around 945 am and got back to the car right after 10 pm. Just over 12 hours

Thanks guys, and Thank you Tom for all of the info you gave me for Kolob, you're a big part of the reason why I was even able to go do something like that. Really hope to go back when there's waterflow and get a much earlier start so I can have time to film more, we were so rushed trying to make it out MIA before dark I had to sprint ahead, unpack the camera, get a shot, quickly pack it up, and run and catch up... We only ended up walking in the pitch black for about 20 minutes before reaching the car. The group of new park employees that was behind us at the first rap went up MIA in the dark and got out of there around 2 am... I can't imagine having to do that in the dark.
