I was wondering how many of you have rebuilt the fox rear shocks. Mine needs new seals, I think. So, with shops being out quite a bit to perform. I looked at the steps on Fox's site and it doesn't look too hard. I have a RP2, or RP23, and servicing these all the time by the shop tends to add up. the last time I had it serviced, it was ~ $100.
So, has anyone attempted this, and is it as easy as the steps suggest?
Is there anything that I would need to watch for?
Do they really need to be sent to Fox for their service to charge for Nitrogen rather than air?
Any thoughts are appreciated.
