I did a day hike up to Lake Blanche in Big Cottonwood Canyon on Friday. This was my first time up there and I was not disappointed. I left the trailhead around 6:30am and got up there in time for the sunrise. I'm glad I got up there when I did as I had time to check out the two other lakes and take my time. When I was headed out, the trail was getting packed. I got back to my car around 3:30pm.
