Looks like they left a trail of food to the edge and cliff and then kicks them off.

Now that's a literal

I'm sure we can write novels about this type of behavior.
Unacceptable on every level.

I've always wondered these days where we draw the line? To be honest, I really don't see the "graphic" or the "wtf" in kicking a squirrel off the cliff. I grew up hunting these things and no, I didn't always eat them. We hunted for sport. Same with rabbits. Bogley has quite the collection of hunting expeditions where prairie dogs and rabbits are blown to smithereens. Post those on YouTube and people are like "meh". Post a video of a guy kicking a squirrel off a well know geographic location and it goes viral. Makes me wonder where the line is. Probably wouldn't have gone viral if he had kicked a lizard off the edge and sent it to its demise. How about a field mouse? Most people I gather wouldn't have given two shits about the mouse, but there is an uproar and full on NPS investigation over the squirrel incident. The only conclusion I can come up with is humanity needs to CTFO

Makes me wonder where the line is.

I think most people would agree that doing this in a national park definitely crosses the line.

Quite frankly, if I had witnessed that, I would have slapped the living snot out of that idiot and his sissy boyfriend too. I'm not kidding.

Great question - where is the line?

Is it a line that the state draws and says killing coyotes, rabbits and lizards, deer, whatever, are okay?

Is it a line that your "moral compass"/church/etc. draws and say that doing this stuff is not "morally" right?

Is it a line that society as a whole draws?

Is it a line that a individual makes and it's society's "right" to defend that persons liberty to protect/destroy???

A Great question indeed!!

If I had of witnessed this I might have felt bad if I was a good person.... but in reality I'd probably asked if they had a squirrel for me to kick....

Squirrel that well-fed might topple a goblin on the way down...

Posting on YouTube guaranteed to draw both kinds of attention.

Then you must have missed the guy in the background wearing the short shorts.... it made me throw up in my mouth a little bit.

I'm surprised it wasn't a stinky brown gerbil he was kicking off that cliff. With the way him and his buddy were dressed.

I'm not a member of PETA or anything, but for the record I am against the mistreatment of animals. I have found a lot of your comments to be funny, but I do not find causing harm to animals to be humorous. If the animal needs to be exterminated than let the parks do it as humanely or quickly as possible. To unnecessarily cause harm like this is wrong.

That squirrel could've fed a family of four rednecks.

But seriously though, I'm glad that squirrel got the boot. When I was about 6 years old I got bitten by a squirrel in the Grand Canyon. Had to go get shots and everything...it was traumatic. So, someone buy that squirrel-kicker a beer!
