Who's in for another year? This will be the 9th straight year of UUtah and Bogley fantasy football. I was looking through all of my results and I've been steadily getting worse!

I'll probably send out the invite in the next day or so. Season starts Thursday Sept 4th so one month from now. I can't think of any issue from last year that need addressing, though I think did have a guy not manage his team.

From there I sold my secrets to Iceaxe and promised to never ever cheat, and hardly ever bluff. I've been studying everybody's tells ever since....

I got an A drafting from 9th and the prediction I would win the league. So my question is if I'm predicted to win the league with my draft how can Clean Pinch get an A+ for his non league winning draft? Also I didn't draft a kicker... maybe that was the key to getting an A.

Clean Pinch got an A+ cause he autopicked. Anytime you pick a player above or below their ADP it effects your grade. So he got an A+ cause Yahoo always picked the best available player. However last night, in my work league I 'won' the draft with most projected points but I was picking off of a PPR draft sheet and not Yahoo. SO who knows what the dealio is.

Yup. My first two weeks I averaged over 110 points....and then week three I drop this 88 point stinker.

So today Yahoo says I won last weeks game and two of her players got no points which is messed up. So Monday I won, Tuesday I lost and Wednesday I'm back to winning again.

You can look at each weeks stat changes. Looks like they mostly took points away from Ice's team today. You can sort by day, they have up till Thursday at noon to adjust the points. So close. I beat Poweder last week when my team finally decided to score some points, but I'm back to being at the bottom.

Christian dropped Brady, I then picked him up but I don't need a QB. The one I have puts up more fantasy points then Brady. And I needed to clear a spot to cover a bye week. So Brady went back into the pond because he was going to spend the year on my bench. My only regret is I should have tried to make a trade, but trades are not real popular in our league.

Maybe we should rename our league the PAC 12, because after this weekend about half the league will be 4-3 and everyone keeps beating up on each other.

I drafted him but he was underperforming and after that week 4 game I didn't have the patience to wait him out. I figured I had nothing to lose since I was already 1-5 and in last place. Then he went and put up 20+ point after Ice picked him up, but I figured Ice was picking him up in anticipation of Breese's bye week. So I kept an eye out for him to be dropped since my backup was underperforming as well. Luckily I was able to get him back.

Now I've lost Chad Johnson, Rashad Jennings, Pierre Thomas, and Fred Jackson. What a year for injuries!

Rex actually offered me a trade last week, Aaron Rodgers for Fred Jackson. I declined since I figured Tom Brady was on the mend and the ONLY RB i had that put up points was Jackson. Now Jackson is out for 4-6 weeks and will only be back for the last two games of our season. Bummer. Fantasy for me sucks this year. At least in my work league (the $ league) i'm in third with a stacked team.

Agreed, He's not managing his team. He started this last year at the end of the season but he accepted the invite this year so quickly I figured maybe it was just a bad year last year. Now we know and we'll cut him next season.

He plays Scott this week so maybe I'll choose this week to start adjusting his roster...

I suggest the entire team is benched and locked... or we bring someone in to manage it which would be my choice. I could easily find someone to manage the team. and I play Nerds again in week 11 just so you know I'm not favoring the easy exit for myself.

His only two wins are against Ice and Powder. That's funny as f*ck! There are lots of options, I can edit the points scored and his lineup for any week. We can just leave it as it is and let it be, or we could go back and essentially make it so everyone that has played him gets a win. Wouldn't effect the standings, so I see no real advantage to doing that. Moving forward its complicated since there are 5 teams that play him twice and right now he's played every team at least once.

He's got players on bye's the next two weeks against Scott and Shane, but is back to a full lineup for CP Rats, Clean Pinch, and Justin. Perhaps for those final three weeks I'll bench who ever was on a bye in week 11 and leave those players benched for the final three weeks so at least the final three games have the same benefit as weeks 10 & 11. The only problem is It sucks for those of us who don't get to play him again this season, especially for the top 4-5 teams since Ice and Scott would get an easy win but Powder and Dojo wouldn't play him again.

The more I think about this the more I think we should do nothing and just consider it the luck of the draw. Any manipulation helps some and hurts others while also removing the luck factor, which is the only thing even remotely fair about the situation.

If we decide to manipulate his team then my vote is to bench all his players for the entire season. But that is my second choice.

I'm strongly against manipulating his team some weeks and not others as that is the least fair of all. It's not fair to change his team the final 3 weeks if you don't do the same the first 3 weeks.

PowderPuffs are now vulnerable as she lost a top RB (Bradshaw) last week to injury and she has a couple others fighting injuries.

And I find it interesting that the two players that make by far the most moves are leading the standings. It was the same thing last year.

Total points against is just as important as total points scored.... and the only team that is really out of whack (read lucky SOB) is Clean Pinch sitting in 4th place. He has scored 1183 points and had 1222 scored against him which should realistically put him in the bottom half of the league. To prove just how strong PowderPuffs are she has had more points scored against her than any team in the league and is still in first place.

The only change this league needs is to dump Nerds and replace him with someone that gives a shit. The only other change I'd make is to make it so trades happen a day sooner. No reason to wait so long, 24 hours is more than enough time if anyone wants to bitch.

Nerds is definitely gone. I also noticed that Clean Pinch didn't manage team going into last weeks game too. I want to make changes to the waiver wire rules. Right now it doesn't do anything, we either need to get rid of it entirely or make it so it actually works. Currently its basically a first come first serve thing, doesn't really matter what the teams waiver priority is. Most Yahoo leagues, including the default settings, are for waivers to be processed all together at some point after the weekends games. So we can still add/drop players before the games, but once the games start there are no more waivers processed immediately. They would all wait till Tuesday morning.

Basically I want to step up the league. I'd like to gauge interest in adding FAAB and even possibly a keeper league. These are option that have been added to Yahoo to keep up with the big fantasy football boys.

My main concern with the waivers is that the waiver priority is there to help teams doing poorly to have first crack at waiver options to improve their team and increase competition in the league. But in our league we have waiver priorities but also an instant add/drop situation that basically negates the waiver priority.

We don't need to decide now but we should see what everyone thinks about updating our league.

I'll have to give some thoughts to these things.... right now I'm against a keeper league for a couple of reasons: We don't have the same group from year to year, I think the draft is a lot of fun, I like having a completely new team each year. If you get stuck with a bad team one year you start with a clean slate the next.

I agree the wavier system should be set up to help the bottom feeders, I'm all for bottom teams being able to improve mid-year. A lot of times you end up a bottom feeder because of injury and not stupidity.

Clean Pinch has done a great job of managing his team throughout the year. For last weeks game he was out of the country and had to set his line-up before he left. I didn't notice any dumbass moves on his part all year, which shows in his end results.

FAAB sounds like to much work, I probably spent too much time on my team as is, I don't need more on my plate.

But I'll keep and open mind and give it all some thought. I've actually been extremely happy with our league the last couple of years.

I was so pissed! I'm just happy I was able to climb out of last place after losing ALL of my drafted running backs to injuries! In my other league I was down 4 points in the championship game and only needed Julius Thomas to catch one more of the million passes he dropped. Lost $120 dollars because of that. Not a good night last night for Team Nelson!
