Climbing at Cosumnes River Gorge near Sacramento, Ca. The two local climbing areas near us are the Auburn Quarry (sport climbing) and Cosumnes River Gorge (Trad and sport climbing). Ever since I started trad climbing I started going to the gorge more often and trying to get better with my placements and overall climbing. The route that I am climbing in the video is "The Easy Way Up" (5.7) which ascends 1 pitch to a rappelling station on a ledge. The climb is really good but has a lot of rope drag.

There are more climbs higher up on the wall. Including a 3 pitch crack route that ascends to the top, a couple 2 or 3 pitch slab climbs with some runnout fun and some mixed climbing as well.
