Hi you all,
Since last year I hiked to Kings Peak, Mount Timpanogos, and Grandview Peak, I was excited to do these again this summer, plus others!
However, putting a damper into my spirit, I was in this car accident where my car even started on fire. Unfortunately, I'm now in crutches for the next couple of months because of broken bones!
I'm going stir crazy not being able to hike! So I'm coming here to ask, are there any trails you know of in the Salt Lake/Davis County area which would be safe for someone in crutches? Or any boardwalks out in nature? (Jordan River Parkway is too city for me)
Is the boardwalk very flat around Silver Lake by Solitude? Are there gaps in the boards where a person with crutches could easily trip? Although before they seemed way too easy, I would now think Ensign Peak and Mueller Park are dangerous for crutches, since it's a chore to balance when at slants.
