Sunday 6/29: Pine Creek sadly only had a little water in the Cathedral and in the Springs under the big rap.

Sunday 6/29 Evening: Key Hole Dropping into Key Hole was like dropping into Satan's Outhouse, these potholes were some of the foulest things i've ever been dangled over... :cry1: What I would have given for a little fresh rain last week. We decided to sling off the tree to avoid the first pothole of death to get dropped right on top of another one.

Monday 6/30 Kolob Creek: We were really hoping to have just a tiny bit of waterflow going through Kolob, but just more stagnant pools, at least the fish didn't seem to mind. We got a kind of late start and didn't get onto the trail til about 945. When we were setting up the 1st Rap a group behind us i believe made up of firefighters for the park started their rap at the waterfall. This was our first advanced canyon and having only done a handful of canyons before it was a little comforting to know there were people behind us in case we got our rope got stuck. All in all, we finished out MIA and back to the car in about 12 hours and came out with 1 dead iphone, i lost iphone and shorts (recovered the next day), and one leg infection from a stick jab on the hike in. The pools in kolob weren't too gross compared to Key Hole and once we hit the Waterfall past the technical section there was good waterflow. Kolob was a lot of fun, we just really had been prepping and hoping for Water to be part of the challenge, our local canyon was far more class c than anything we were able to find in Zion this last week unfortunately, looking forward to coming back soon when there is more water!

I was able to get a lot of great video footage on my dslr and excited to put an edit together soon from the trip. We also hit Subway on Tuesday which was a little bit of a letdown compared to past visits, that and everyone was pretty exhausted from the MIA exit from the night before.
