In case anyone else was curious, the HMS Bruce Steel FG (http://www.edelrid.de/en/Edelrid/Sports/HMS-Bruce-Steel-FG-silver.html) fits on a CRITR nice and tight. I will post back if it rappels smooth once I get back in a canyon, might be a couple weeks.

Hey ST
We are curious to know how it goes with the CRITR!
Steel typically runs with less friction than aluminum, but the
I-beam profile might slow the rope a little...
Be safe

Ill run a static friction test to find out and then start on a higher friction setting. Hopefully it is a little faster, I rarely run the CRITR with any extra friction

I tryied this exact setup with a 9.2 canyonero in Pine Creek a couple weeks ago. I was double roped. I had it in the 0 setting for friction. With my pack I'm a 150lbs. And it was just a little to much friction for me. But I think after it wears a little it will be perfect.

I use the Black Diamond Rock Lock Magnetron with my CRITR and it fits perfectly. It also makes my rappel setup look all fancy and straight out of the movies.
