I taking some friends to zion and want to introduce them to canyoneering, I am looking for a short canyon with 25-40 rappels similiar to keyhole

Subway and Orderville would be good choices, but they aren't that short. Echo too, but don't kill any snakes or anything. Echo can have some potholes that you may have to help each other out of.

Keyhole may be the best choice, even though you have done it.

The popular short canyons I can think of (Pine for example) have longer rappels than you are looking for.

Beginner slots don't have 35 or 40 rappels :-)

Keyhole, Birch Hollow, Subway, Orderville, Behunin, Pine Creek, Yankee Doodle, Mystery and Echo are some of the Zion routes popular with noobs.

I'm thinking Birch Hollow should be high on your list for several reasons.

Since he said "similar to Keyhole", I'm pretty sure he meant 25-40 feet high rappels (which is why I didn't suggest canyons like Pine, Birch, etc.), rather than 35-40 rappels.

That makes more sense :-)

In that case Subway and Orderville Gulch.

Full Keyhole gets you many more short drops to rap or d/c (get early start to minimize sun exposure. Bring natural anchor building knowledge and gear.
