Did Keyhole the 28th. The water is cold, brown and smelly. Wetsuit a must.

Water quality...uhh...looking for the HWQI?

Or, is there an acceptable level of fecal coliform bacteria?

Well...I wouldn't want to ingest the water in Keyhole...

Seriously, why even ask a question about Keyhole? Put all your gear on at your car, throw a rope over your shoulder and go run through it. No backpack needed. Back to the car in an hour...

24 minutes for full Keyhole, 14 minutes for the short cut route...car-to-car.

Fine. I was being generous with an hour. Last month we had a couple of 13 yr olds in our group of six and did it in 45 min. We let the kids set up the ropes and lead most of the way to get some technical experience.
