Went thru Miss Piggy and Boss Hog Thurs 5/22/14. Road up to Hogs was good enough for a Honda Element to make it - after my HC 4WD went 1st.
Also in Boss, 1st rap off a 'ballard' (sp? per Shane) is gone. Went thru last year and not sure but think there was some webbing there. Looks like the bollard has broken off, so need to figure way down.
We used rope for handline on the stub, but unless careful the rope could slide off.
Also did Inferno & Hard Day. HDH was indeed a hard day. Water on lower 1/2 made for several dips and swims and much harder stemming. Also flooding/water had blown out several anchors we had to restore. Great canyon but it beat us up pretty good. Water really makes things slower/harder in tight stemming canyons.
Also unless u have done hike out b4 it can be challenging route finding. We keep getting cliffed out - need to stay on east bench overlooking Colo River instead of trying to gain cap until the very end. Do not try to gain cap too early.
