Canyoneering in Jordan Trip Planning

My wife and I are planning a trip to Israel and Jordan next year. We are just starting the planning phase of this and wanted to know if anyone out there in the world of Bogley has been there for canyoneering. We are going to spend somewhere around 10-12 days over there. We want to devote a 2 days to canyoneering in Jordan. I am looking for recommendations on canyons and guides. My wife and I are very experienced canyoneers and climbers. We are not going to bring any gear with us, because we do not want to haul it around all these days we are traveling (we trying to go as light as possible). Any help here would be great.

my suggestion

ditch the canyoneering and do some scuba diving in the (nearby) red sea at Sharm_el-Sheikh on the Sinai peninsula
