I've worked in EMS and Healthcare for 8 years in various capacities and not a lot turns my stomach these days, but this makes me sick. It was premeditated. The audio recording, the callousness, his calculated approach, all points more to paranoia and deeper issues than simply "living in fear".

He has certainly not done anything to help the cause of law abiding citizens who would legitimately defend their homes and families from legitimate threats in a manner more consistent with self defense rather than with cold blooded murder.

I think most of us would be willing to take a life if someone broke into our home and we felt our life was in danger, however this goes way, way beyond that into the realm of premeditated murder. Horrible.

That guy is obviously crazy. On the other hand, don't break in to my home. Black and white issue for me, no grey areas. You choose to invade my space, my property, pretty much anything goes.

I've got to agree with Taylor and the lady DJ, my castle is mine and if you're not invited in then I can use deadly force. I think this guy went a little overboard maybe but, they BROKE IN...
