The proposed memorial sign would read "Drive Safely; Buckle Up: In Memory of the Hundreds of Terrified Turkeys Who Died Here in a Truck Crash." A draft version of the sign includes a picture of a turkey and the phrase "try vegan."

I wonder if the people proposing this had actual family ties to any of the brave birds who gave up the ghost a little too early to make it to my grill.

Dont you have to be a family member to propose a roadside monument to the fallen?

We could check ancestry.com if we knew there names. My guess is they come from a long line of Turkeys!

Probably a good idea, just imagine how many times it would get shot up. A sign like that literally begs for bullet holes. :)
