Hi,
I'm new in the USA and i'm trying to organize a canyoneering trip for this summer (July or August).
I'm quite flexible with the the date and with the location. I'm concentrate my researches in Utah and Colorado.
Any suggestions for Canyoneering Rendezvous in that period or somebody that may I join?
I have a lot of experience in the whet canyons in the Alps and i'm flexible and adaptable.
Best Regards
Peppe

Based on your experience which Utah canyons do you suggests?
I'm wandering a bit about the weather.
Probably in July all of them will be under dry condition. Is this true?
Thanks in advance

July, especially after mid-July is actually flash flood season. There are still many dry days then, but mid July through mid-September is when the heaviest rains and flash floods usually occur. You don't want to be in any slot canyon if there is flash flood danger.

That time of year, many canyons in Utah are too hot for most. You will probably want to head for Zion or parts of Escalante (upper), which are reasonable in summer. There are a few other scattered canyons reasonable in summer, but most of the ones in Utah will be in those two regions, so those regions are the ones to focus on that time of year.
Outside those areas, places like Pleiades Canyon, Crescent Creek, some of the White Canyon stuff, the Black Boxes, etc, are reasonable, but in Zion, summer canyons are more concentrated. Upper Escalante has some good summer ones too.
