Yes, I have tested one. It is a nice belay/rappel device for Climbing.
Terrible for canyoneering: it WILL slide the sheath on dyneema core canyoneering ropes, when rapping single line.
ATC type devices are just not very good at SRT.
Get a Pirana, ATS, or best of all a CRITR! (available next week at canyonwerks.com)-:nod:
