Almost all of them are undeveloped or developing countries too. Developing countries and undeveloped countries almost always have the highest murder rates In the developed world, the United States has one of the highest murder rates.

This isn't meant to be an anti-gun post (I am fairly neutral on the subject), but only to point out that it is a misleading comparison without comparing the countries with the lowest murder rates, which are mostly those with strict gun laws.

The point is that you could use either the lowest or highest murder rates to argue either side.

Also, the original post should actually say stricter gun laws rather than 100% gun bans. It is legal in many of those countries to own guns and some of them have a relatively high rates of ownership. Panama, for example, is #26 in the world for per capita gun ownership.
