Private messages?

I just tried to send a private message to Rockgremlin....and was denied. It said that he can't receive them? What's up with that?

His allocated Inbox is probably full; he needs to read / delete what sits in his inbox before your message (and anyone else's) can fit in.

If you think of it as one of these you'll get the idea. The poor old Postman can't fit any more in.

Edit: It just did it again...it says "Rockgremlin cannot receive private messages. He either has it turned off or he may not be allowed.

That's it...nothing about the mailbox. Somebody important shoot him one, eh?

Try it now. I just decluttered, and I ensured that my "receive private messages from all members" was turned ON. If it doesn't work now, then Sombeech will have some 'splaining to do.
