It appears that the latest Air NZ safety video has caused a bit of a stir in being "sexualised".

"Air New Zealand has hit turbulence over its decision to use swimsuit-clad Sports Illustrated models for its latest in-flight safety video.

The airline is famous for its inventive on-board safety messages, which have in the past featured Hobbits, Bear Grylls and the All Blacks, but critics say their creativity has taken a nosedive.

Produced in collaboration with Sports Illustrated, the so-dubbed 'world's most beautiful safety video' features a gaggle of swimsuit models bouncing around the white sands of the Cook Islands."

And this is only one apparent disquiet from the media. Personally, I think anything that persuades flyers to listen to the safety briefing helps.

What does the panel think?

For the avoidance of doubt, I did not write the words including and below the words "Similar Threads" at the foot of my post. I don't agree that that are all similar (where do I mention New Years Day, or a gun, or Australia or tragedy?)

What a stupid feature, and I find it insulting to have my post so edited without my permission.

Sorry, editors, you have lost the plot.

Hey man...hot chicks saying just about ANYTHING is A-OK in my book. It's always ugly women that get all bent out of shape about stuff like this anyway, so who cares what they have to say.

I'm not diggin' this "similar threads" feature either. I vote to get rid of it.
