Already checked candition, wondering the conditions of good winter Zion canyons, as well as Johnson Arch Canyon.

Behunin, Diana's Throne, Red Cave? Is the East Fork of Fat Man's Misery doable this time of year?

Thanks in advance.

So it has been a month since the last update and weather has been a bit of a pendulum for S. UT ... Anyone in the Zion area care to comment on conditions now? Specifically on the West Rim Trail. The series of storms that have been going through the area lately, has it been rain or snow? If snow, at what elevation?
Thanks!

Went for a hike in Zion today, on the East side, 5500 to 6000 feet altitude. Snow is all gone at that altitude, but the top of the West Rim is higher, about 7200 feet. A little light rain today. It has been somewhat rainy the last 48 hours, though not much total precip, an inch at most.

Hard to say what is going on up the other side of the Park - It would be unusual for there to be NO snowpack, but this is an unusual year for sure! And this "storm" has definitely been kinda warm.

Some pics from today: West face of Crazy Quilt Mesa, and a Manzanita blooming up a little early.

Thanks Tom. Yea the weather people were talking about this February being the warmest in 19 years. I'm hoping this means we'll get early spring time conditions in Zion. Although it's hard to say because March can be so fickle.
