The power pot's web site says it takes 1-2 hours to recharge a smart phone. Unless you are using a wood fire, there is no way this is going to be practical for backpackers. On a week long trip I may have a total of 2 hours burn worth of fuel.

Why not just bring a Goal Zero Guide 10 Plus power pack which weighs less and holds enough power to recharge your phone twice?
