It pinned me to within 20- 30 mi of where I was born and grew up 'till I was 18. Then I moved west 40 yrs ago. This was actually a very good test of 100+ questions when it was published in a linguistics study ~ 10+ yrs ago that I loved to pass around . I've taken this quiz three times and it's put me in nine (9) different cities, but mostly in the south.

Born in Nawlins (New Orleans, and yes, that's how I still pronounce it), but have spent nearly all my life in Houston, so I'm guessing that's why it's not pinning me to a specific area. Plus, I picked up a lot of idioms from my wife, who grew up in Wisconsin (ex. "pop" for soft drinks).
