Turning 30

I'm turning 30 next week and I wanna do something for my birthday that is in the spirit of giving/service, and not receiving.

Any ideas where a bunch of friends and family (30+ or so) can meet and do some service? Inside or outside - doesn't matter. Anything from cooking to shoveling snow.

This is preferrably for the salt lake area.
